We watched many children play and realized that they often preferred playing with plastic toys. The colors, shapes, and weight of these toys are particularly conducive to play.

We then knew that if we wanted to make a toy for playing, we would have to use plastic. But we didn't want a material that required the use of fossil fuels.

Instead of using new material, we turned to existing resources.

We make single-material toys!

Single-material means we only use one material. Nothing else. No glue, no screws, no paint or stickers. Everything relies on the design and the interlocking concept of the pieces. This is our recipe for designing toys that are 100% recyclable, durable, and washable with water.

A material full of potential

We recycle and transform manufacturing scraps from everyday products made from HDPE into toys.

It all starts with HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), a plastic found in bottle caps, milk bottles, or shower gel bottles.

We consider it not as waste, but as a precious resource, capable of living several lives. This material, identifiable by its symbol #2, is fully integrated into the European recycling chain.

Once collected, it is transported to a sorting plant, where it is crushed, cleaned, and then prepared for a new use.

Rigorous analyses are carried out by independent laboratories to ensure that the plastic complies with safety, durability, and non-toxicity standards, which are essential for toy manufacturing. The toys meet all current safety standards, such as EN71 and CE, and are therefore guaranteed free of endocrine disruptors (no BPA, phthalates, or PVC)

A local and virtuous transformation

Thanks to a short supply chain and our French partners, this recycled material becomes toys:

• Solid and safe, designed to last.
• Responsible, as they are conceived within a circular economy logic.
• And above all, 100% recyclable again!

Every Simple toy is made in France, thus limiting unnecessary transportation and supporting local expertise.

Today, too many toys are made from non-renewable fossil resources. However, we are convinced that it is possible to act differently to preserve our common playground: the planet.

That is why we have chosen responsible production, based on the principles of eco-design and the circular economy.
